Another season, another trainer trend , this time in the shape of Nike Shox R4, a pair of shoes you might be intimately familiar with from the Noughties if you’re old enough to remember such a time. For those not in the know, the Nike Shox R4 debuted in the year 2000 as the first ever model in the Shox line. They’re very similar to the Nike Shox TL – which came out in 2003, before being re-released in 2019 – but with the springs only at the back of the sole, rather than all over.

While the Nike Shox TL might be more prevalent, I’ve noticed the Nike Shox R4 becoming a slightly cooler and more low-key choice among the fashion girls and street-style set.
