GREENVILLE, S.C. —

It's still more than a week away, but we are getting an early look at your trick-or-treating forecast for the Upstate area of South Carolina.

A cold front is expected to move through the area next week, bringing rain and potentially strong storms.

Kokinos said, "Thursday, the day before Halloween, we definitely could see some heavier rain and possibly strong to severe storms as this cold front barrels through."

The cold front is anticipated to arrive between Oct. 29 and 30, with models showing agreement on this timing.

Kokinos noted that the cold front will be strong, but the good news is it comes in a day or two ahead of Halloween.
