ASHEVILLE, N.C. —

A shelter has been set up following a gas leak evacuation in Asheville.

Asheville Fire Department said the gas leak has been reported at 244 Montford Avenue.

Officails said if you are within a 2-block radius of this address, you need to evacuate the area now.

Buncombe County officials said a mass phone alert has been sent out to anyone within the evacuation radius.
