The list represents various places that the magazine considers the most awe-inspiring and immersive travel experiences in the world.

In the article, it highlights several events and sites like the Medora Musical, Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the new Presidential Library.

The Badlands join Maui, Pittsburgh and Route 66 as domestic sites. Several international sites, like Milan, Vancouver, and Fiji, were also selected.
