Badlands listed on National Geographic’s ‘BEST OF THE WORLD’

BISMARCK, N.D. (KUMV) - National Geographic selected the North Dakota Badlands as one of its ‘BEST OF THE WORLD, WHERE TO GO’ in 2026.

The list represents various places that the magazine considers the most awe-inspiring and immersive travel experiences in the world.

In the article, it highlights several events and sites like the Medora Musical, Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the new Presidential Library.

The Badlands join Maui, Pittsburgh and Route 66 as domestic sites. Several international sites, like Milan, Vancouver, and Fiji, were also selected.
