COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - One of the Midlands’ own is set to be in the national spotlight at this year’s 2026 Navy All-American Bowl.

It was announced on Wednesday that Dutch Fork High School defensive end Julian Walker will participate in the game on Jan. 10, 2026. The annual matchup at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, is a showcase of high school all-stars from across the country.

Walker committed to play at Michigan earlier this year, choosing the Wolverines over South Carolina, Missouri, Auburn, and Southern Cal.

Notable alums of the game include Andrew Luck, Adrian Peterson, Odell Beckham Jr. It’s also featured several South Carolina and Clemson stars just before their college careers, including Trevor Lawrence, Tajh Boyd, Marcus Lattimore and Bryan Edwards.
