Cloudier skies and rainfall have moved into New Mexico this afternoon. A bit of moisture has sparked light showers into western New Mexico. Today, spotty to isolated showers will persist across the state before isolated showers linger overnight into Thursday morning. Tomorrow's morning showers are expected to give way into additional shower and thunderstorm chances into the afternoon and evening. There is a marginal, or level 1 risk, for stronger to severe thunderstorms to develop across eastern New Mexico. If thunderstorms turn onto the stronger side damaging winds and hail will be the primary concerns.
The return of wet weather and moisture is being funneled in from a low-pressure system off toward to the west. As it enters into New Mexico tomorrow afternoon and evening breezy condition
