SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (WVNS) -- A road closure will take place on part of I-64 at the beginning of November.
According to a post on the Summers County WV 911 Center's Facebook page and a press release from the West Virginia Division of Highways, starting at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2025, I-64 Westbound from the Green Sulphur Exit (Exit 143) to the Sandstone Exit (Exit 139) will be closed until around 9:00 p.m., and I-64 Eastbound will close from the Bragg Exit (Exit 133) to the Sandstone Exit (Exit 139) at 10:00 p.m. until approximately 6:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025.
The post stated that people traveling on I-64 Westbound will detour at Exit 143 (Green Sulphur Springs), take Summers County Route 4 West (Lick Creek Road), to WV 20 South in Green Sulphur Springs, and return to
