San Bernardino County officials warned Wednesday that CalFresh beneficiaries may not be able to get their monthly assistance for groceries in November amid the government shutdown.
The California government also alerted last week that the current federal funding for CalFresh and CalWorks, a public assistance program that provides cash aid and services to eligible low-income families with children, was expected to last through the end of October.
