OSAN, Gyeonggi-do — Police arrested a woman in South Korea after she allegedly used a homemade flamethrower to kill a cockroach, setting her apartment complex on fire, according to local outlets.

Reports said the 20-year-old woman used a lighter and "spray pain relief patches" to try and kill the bug around 5:35 a.m. Monday. The fire broke out on the second story of a five-story apartment complex in Osan-si, South Korea, according to Yonhap News .

A 30-year-old neighbor, who was of Chinese nationalist, died while trying to flee her fifth-floor apartment with her husband and their 2-month-old.
