PHOENIX — Those in Tempe impacted by the disastrous Oct. 13 storm can access free emergency services at a Disaster Assistance Center that opens Thursday and closes on Saturday.

Residents and businesses can connect directly to the in-person recovery resources from noon to 7 p.m. at Community Christian Church, which is at 1701 S. College Ave.

Various agencies and organizations that can help people with cleanup, crisis counseling, debris removal, emotional care, food and emergency services and support for impacted ASU students, veterans and tribal members will all be available.

All services are free, according to a Wednesday announcement from the city of Tempe.
