TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — The City of Tempe is opening a disaster assistance center to help residents and businesses affected by the microburst that caused widespread damage across the area.

The center will serve as a one-stop shop for people still seeking help after the storm ripped roofs off buildings and knocked down deep-rooted trees, according to city officials.

“If anyone has been impacted by the storm, come to the disaster assistance center, or if you need help navigating, this is the center of resources, this is where you can get answers to those questions,” said Monique Rodriguez, the interim emergency manager with the City of Tempe.
