VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) -- A former member of the Vanderburgh County Council is on the short list to fill a seat on the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.
Bob Deig is on the list of 10 people who are trying to fill three vacancies on the commission. Deig says there has not been representation on that board for 20 years and he wants that to change.
Deig says it's important to have a voice at the state level to speak for residential commercial and industrial customers.
"I think it's an amazing time right now to be able to shape the energy future here in Indiana,” says Deig. “There is so much talk. There's wind or solar of course, coal, natural gas. There are so many options to go to right now. There's a tremendous amount of demand growth as well. In Indiana, they say over the
