EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- Some Tri-State women are recognized for their outstanding work with Easterseals.

Easterseals held their annual meeting on Wednesday. The organization elected a new chairman and presented the prestigious Ray Raisor Spirit of Innovation and Impact Awards. One of the winners, Cecey Bunker, serves as the nursing coordinator for Easterseals.

Bunker was recognized for nearly 30 years of dedicated service and her significant impact on the organization and those it serves.

"It shaped my life,” says Bunker. “I started back in 1996 in the group homes and I did that for several years. It's all possible because of the clients that I have served all these years.”

Julie Martin, director of information systems, was also recognized for her leadership and innovation.
