JASPER, Ind. (WEHT) -- A major milestone is hit on a state road project that some homeowners say will take away their life's work.
The Midstates Corridor Project is down to two expressway alternatives. Homeowners gathered to hear about it Wednesday night at Jasper Middle School.
Officials say it's a major step in the midstate's corridor project. After dozens of studies, public input and meetings project officials say they are one step closer to finalizing the design plan.
"There are some places where they overlap each other and crisscross and there are six locations that have some variations,” says Outreach Coordinator Nicole Minton. “We still want to study more in depth on how we connect this new road to the local roads.”
