JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - If you’ve filled up your tank lately, you’ve probably noticed that gas prices are falling. According to GasBuddy, North Carolina gas is now the cheapest it’s been in October since 2020.
This week alone, prices have dropped by 11.1 cents per gallon, bringing the state average down to $2.72 a gallon.
Drivers in Jacksonville say they’re happy to see the numbers keep going down and hope it stays that way.
