ASHEVILLE - Last spring, Rite Rite coffee shop closed downtown. Soon, its remaining North Asheville location will meet the same fate.

Rite Rite, a coffee shop at 96 Weaverville Road in North Asheville, is slated to close in mid-December.

On Oct. 21, Rite Rite owners Logan and Essy Hatchett posted a message on social media stating that they will not renew the lease for the storefront space. They attributed the decision to factors including impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, Tropical Storm Helene and tariffs.
