Lloyds Bank, Halifax, and Bank of Scotland have all announced closures, forcing Martin Lewis' hand to address the situation.

Customers can be concerned that their local bank branch is shutting its doors, making it increasingly difficult to visit a representative in person.

The BBC and ITV star said if you have those concerns, it may be time to "switch banks" but he did warn the decision to change may not be worth it.

Martin said: "If you no longer want to stay with Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland, you might want to consider switching to a bank that does have a local branch nearby – although bear in mind there's no guarantee that won't close as well."
