WEATHERSFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) -- A road has reopened after a rollover crash closed the area for several hours on Wednesday after an SUV struck a telephone pole and knocked down utility wires.

Emergency crews were called to the 1700 block of 1700 block of Salt Springs Road for a reported vehicle rollover just after 9 a.m. Wednesday.

When crews arrived, they stated the occupant of the SUV had gotten out of the vehicle. The person was taken to the hospital with what the incident report states are suspected serious injuries.

The incident report states the SUV was traveling east on Salt Springs Road when it went left of center and off the roadway, hitting a mailbox and utility pole before rolling over onto its side. The utility pole was snapped in half as a result of the impact, knocking down w
