NILES, Ohio (WKBN) - A man who was identified as the driver who crashed a vehicle into two houses in Niles earlier this month pleaded guilty to OVI and was sentenced, according to court records.

Records state that Antonio Gutierrez entered a plea to OVI, while the failure to control charge was dismissed, in Niles Municipal Court on Wednesday.

Gutierrez was sentenced to a three-day driving intervention program, as well as a one-year suspension of his driver's license. He will also have to pay fines and court costs.

Police say Gutierrez hit two houses on Cherry Avenue, near Bean Street, and the crash caused the roof of one of the homes to collapse.

No one was hurt.
