CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A Greenville man was ticketed after troopers say his truck collided with a school bus in Craven County.
Around 7:15 a.m. today, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol said troopers were called to a crash involving a pick-up truck and a school bus on River Road near Western Lane.
Troopers say 48-year-old Mauricio Bautista was driving a pickup truck that was towing a utility trailer. He was trying to pass the bus in a designated no-passing zone when the bus started to take a left turn.
Several students were on board at the time of the crash, but no one was injured, according to troopers.
Troopers say Bautista was cited for improper passing.
