Another day of ample sunshine and cooler temperatures as we continue through the day, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. Winds will be slow to relax. Lows drop to the mid to upper 40s.

More sunshine than clouds will end the week out as winds also start to relax, though the fire danger remains across ENC. We stay in the 60s, but lows dip to the upper 30s, as some patchy frost is possible for our I-95 counties early Saturday morning. A dry weekend and cooler air will be the theme.

As we head into next week, changes will usher in rain chances and much cooler weather, as highs will go from the 60s to the 50s late week. Winds will also pick up from the north-northwest. Though we will not see a lot of rain, it will be helpful to the ongoing dry conditions. Lows hold in the 40s.
