LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - Elyria police say officers arrested a man Wednesday in connection to the armed robbery of a jewelry store.
Investigators say Brian M. Foster, 37, lurked inside the Kay Jewelers on Chestnut Commons back on Oct. 14 with a semi-automatic handgun.
Police allege he forced staff at gunpoint to open cases and give him jewelry.
Officers say when they arrested Foster, they recovered jewelry matching the stolen merchandise.
They also found a black BB gun resembling the weapon used in the robbery, according to police.
Bodycam video shows officers take him into custody at a local gas station. Foster is charged with aggravated robbery.
