Niagara Falls will be lit up for Team Canada this week with a blue hue on its cascades in support of the Toronto Blue Jays’ bid for the World Series championship.
Niagara Falls Illumination Board and Niagara Falls Tourism and Niagara Parks will illuminate Horseshoe Falls in blue on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. in support of the Blue Jays, who will compete in the World Series for the first time in 32 years.
The illuminations will align with the first pitch of Game 1 and 2 of the series, which will be played in Toronto against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Niagara Parks and Niagara Falls Tourism hosted the Blue Jays during their winter tour in January 2023. Current players Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Chris Bassitt participated in the tour, which also included a special illumination of the falls
