TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Tucson Police Department says a woman has died from her injuries suffered in a crash earlier this month.

The TPD says 80-year-old Celia Roman passed away October 18.

The crash happened between two vehicles October 17 at East Valencia Road and South Nogales Highway.

Police say Roman was the passenger of a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage that collided with a 2017 Kia Optima.

Witness statements indicated the Mitsubishi was trying to make a left turn from eastbound Valencia Road onto northbound Nogales Highway on a passive green light when it was hit by the 2017 Kia Optima traveling westbound on Valencia.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, an 85-year-old male, was cited for Failure to Yield While Making a Left Turn.

No one else was hurt.
