WHEELING, W.Va. (WV News) — The Drive and Dine Coyotes from the Wetzel County Technical Education Center were named the grand champion of the 2025 Culineering Challenge Thursday, winning a $5,000 classroom grant at the competition's conclusion at Oglebay Park Resort in Wheeling.
The West Virginia Department of Education Office of Career Technical Education organized the fourth annual competition, which merges culinary and engineering skills. The Culinary Caddies from Wheeling Park High School (Ohio County) won second place, and the MCTEC Culineers from the Mercer County Technical Education Center (Mercer County) earned third place.
