Downtown Anchorage is getting into the Halloween spirit this weekend with “ Trick or Treat Street .”

Businesses along 4th Avenue are decked out with pumpkins, skeletons, and other spooky decorations for the free, family-friendly event. Kids can dress up and trick-or-treat at more than 30 shops, including 6th Avenue Outfitters.

Organizers are also hosting a block party featuring a petting zoo, photo booth, food trucks, and a haunted trolley ride.

“It’s fun to see all the kids dressed up in costumes and it’s just nice to be a part of the community and participate in it,” said Aaron Frenzel with 6th Avenue Outfitters.

Trick or Treat Street runs this Saturday from noon until 4 p.m. along 4th Avenue in Anchorage.
