BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont police have arrested two men in connection with an aggravated robbery using a knife at the Honey Stop convenience store on Tram Road earlier this week.

According to a news release, 25-year-old Danny Johnson was arrested by the Beaumont Police Department’s Special Assignment Unit (SAU) and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Johnson was taken into custody on a Motion to Revoke Probation warrant out of Jefferson County and an active robbery warrant out of Orange County. Investigators believe Johnson is the suspect seen in surveillance video from the October 23 robbery.

Police said additional charges for aggravated robbery are expected to be filed against Johnson soon.
