MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The State Court of Appeals was notified that the mediation in the ouster case involving County Clerk Wanda Halbert has been canceled on Thursday.
According to court documents, "one party has withdrawn consent to voluntary mediation."
The cancellation means that the Court of Appeals can now move forward and make a ruling in the case.
