NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Alaska Airlines temporarily grounded its flights at all airports nationwide on Thursday evening due to a technical issue, officials stated.
"Alaska Airlines is experiencing an IT outage affecting operations," read a social media post by the company. "A temporary ground stop is in place. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you're scheduled to fly tonight, please check your flight status before heading to the airport."
It remains unclear what led to the outage.
