AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department is seeking public help finding a suspect vehicle involved in a two-vehicle crash that happened Tuesday in central Austin.

Shortly after 9 a.m., officers responded to the crash in the 9000 block of Research Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found one vehicle, per a news release from APD.

Occupants of the second vehicle told police the second vehicle drove away from the scene. One person in the first vehicle had minor injuries, according to police.

Detectives with APD Highway Enforcement said the vehicle that drove away was a Jeep, and the agency seeks public help to find the person driving it at the time the crash happened.
