CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The Craven County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information related to a person reported missing 25 years ago.
The sheriff’s office says 16-year-old Christina Lewis was reported missing on June 20th, 2000, from Half Moon Road.
Deputies say her family last heard from her on June 6th, 2000, but waited to file a report because Lewis had previously left home and returned after a few days.
Investigators say they conducted many interviews at the time of her disappearance and in the years since the report.
Many properties and waterways were searched based on information from the interviews.
