ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) -- A multi-vehicle crash in Etowah County left four injured and one woman dead on Oct. 19.
Amber Lee, 22, was injured when the Toyota Camry she was a passenger in was struck by a Ford F250 pickup around 11:20 a.m. After initial impact, the Camry was struck by a Chevrolet 1500. Lee was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 21-year-old was transported to UAB Hospital for medical treatment. A 1-year-old passenger in the Camry was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Lastly, a 27-year-old from Eastaboga was injured and transported to Gadsden Regional Hospital.
The crash occurred on U.S. 278. Alabama Law Enforcement Agency will investigate.
