SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) -- Following the armed robbery at the Bank of America on Victory Drive, a bystander is counting his blessings.
Allen Larkin was sitting in his car at a nearby business, sending a work email from his phone. He told WSAV News 3, he noticed a man in a mask and decided to lock his car door.
Little did he know, a bank robbery just happened, and he would soon be face-to-face with the suspect.
"I see a gun in his hand, and he's just banging on the window and yelling at me," Larkin said.
Eric Williams, 37, had allegedly just left the Bank of America with a large amount of cash. When running from the scene, police said Williams tried to find a getaway car.
