KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Kansas City man has been arrested after a string of bank robberies in the Kansas City Metro earlier this week, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says.
The FBI said that Weston Womack was arrested on October 23 as a suspect in four bank robberies on October 22 and 23. Weston is accused of robbing a bank in KCMO and Gladstone, Missouri.
Womack is accused of robbing a US Bank on Gregory Boulevard in the Armour Hills neighborhood, as well as a UMB Bank in the Country Club Plaza neighborhood on Wednesday.
Court records show that Womack continued to rob banks on Thursday following the two on Wednesday. He's accused of robbing a Security Bank of Kansas City on Northeast Antioch Road in Gladstone and a UMB Bank on Grand Boulevard in KCMO on Thursday.
