HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Two juveniles are suffering from burn injuries after a brush fire near Stratton Court on Friday.

According to the fire department, a neighbor extinguished the fire upon arrival. Both juveniles were transported for further medical treatment.

One juvenile was transported to Bridgeport Burn Center, while the other was transported to Yale Pediatric for specialized care, the fire department said.

The fire remains under investigation. The extent of the injuries are unknown at this time, and no further details have been released.
