Australia collapsed for 236 in 46.4 overs during the third and final ODI against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

India now needs 237 runs to win and avoid a series whitewash.

After winning the toss, Australia chose to bat first and started strong. Travis Head and captain Mitchell Marsh built a 61-run partnership for the opening wicket. However, Mohammed Siraj broke the stand by dismissing Head for 29. Shortly after, Axar Patel bowled Marsh for 41, shifting momentum in India’s favor.

Washington Sundar maintained the pressure by removing Matthew Short (30) and Matt Renshaw (56), who top-scored for Australia.
