A newborn baby tragically died just hours after being born at home, an inquest has heard.
The infant was delivered at just 24-week gestation, which is around 16-weeks early.
Emergency crews raced to the mother’s address in Builth Wells, Powys, after she gave birth unexpectedly and the baby was taken to hospital.

Sadly, the little boy died later that day at Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, WalesOnline reports.
An inquest heard that the baby’s mother had tested positive for cocaine while pregnant and had minimal engagement with antenatal services.
