MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A Tennessee woman died after a crash on Interstate 24 on Saturday morning, October 25.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 10 mile marker of westbound I-24 just after 11 a.m. for a single-vehicle crash.
Deputies say a 2020 Nissan Altima driven by Molly Gallimore, 54, of Paris, Tenn., was going westbound on I-24 with 54-year-old Roderick Gallimore, also of Paris, Tenn., as her passenger.
For unknown reasons, they say the vehicle left the road and traveled along the grass shoulder for about 100 yards. The vehicle then hit a concrete culvert wingwall, overturned and came to a rest on its roof in about 2-3 feet of water.
According to deputies, two off-duty FBI agents witnessed the crash and stopped to help.
