NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority is warning riders to expect service disruptions and delays Saturday, Oct. 25, due to events taking place across the city.
Detours and interruptions will begin at 7 a.m. on the 12 St. Charles Streetcar line for the Krewe of BOO! Zombie Run.
The Krewe of BOO! parade will affect several major transit routes starting at 4:30 p.m., with riders advised to plan for detours, delays, and possible stop relocations.
Routes expected to be impacted include:
Route 80 Desire–Louisa
Route 11 Magazine
47 Canal Streetcar – Cemeteries
48 Canal Streetcar – City Park
49 Riverfront Streetcar
The RTA said Canal/Algiers Ferry Service will be increased, with an additional vessel available as needed to accommodate parade-goers.
