ALLIANCE, Ohio (WKBN) - The No. 2 nationally ranked Mount Union Purple Raiders downed Ohio Northern, 33-7, at Kehres Stadium in Alliance Saturday afternoon.

Purple Raider's quarterback Mikey Maloney completed 15-of-21 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns.

Jacob Cockrell led MU in receiving yards as he caught four passes for 75 yards. Wyatt Stiehl also caught two passes for 21 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Mount Union's Kayden Minner rushed 10 times for 107 yards and one touchdown in the victory.

Ohio Northern QB Sam Feldman completed 11-of-25 passes for 131 yards in the loss. Ohio Northern's lone score came from running back Jordan Pettaway.

Mount Union's defense recorded four sacks and five tackles for loss in the win.
