ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Over at the ABQ BioPark, guests were invited to partake in a fangtastically eerie day of trick or treating for their annual Boo at the Zoo celebration. KRQE News 13's morning team, David Romero, Stephanie Chavez, and Ryan DePhillips, were there handing out bags and treats to kiddos as they made their way inside.
Families were invited to dress in their spooky costumes or get creative and come up with their own characters to trick or treat through the zoo. "One was really funny, it looked like a tin that my grandmother kept her buttons in that you would typically see cookies in, that really caught me by surprise. We've already seen the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Scooby-Doo here as well," said Kent Berry, Event Director.
