Police are conducting a death investigation in east Charlotte.

Police say a man’s body was found in the bushes between a gas station and a strip mall just after 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

This is along Central Avenue near East Crest Drive. Police say the man had trauma to the head.

There’s no word on how long the body had been there.
