A man is in custody after allegedly pointing a loaded gun at a group of people from his Prior Lake apartment Friday night.
According to the Prior Lake Police Department, officers received a report just after 10 p.m. of a man pointing a long gun at people in the parking lot of an apartment building on the 4600 block of Tower Street Southeast.
Police say the man loaded a weapon and pointed it at a group of people from the deck of his apartment after reportedly becoming upset that they were being loud.
When officers tried to contact him, the man went back inside and did not respond.
Members of the Tri-County Tactical Team eventually made contact with the suspect, who surrendered without further incident.
The alleged weapon was later found during a search of the man’s apartment.
