SANTA FE, N.M. —
Police officers were sent to the intersection of Cerrillos and Rodeo roads Saturday afternoon, where they found a man who had been stabbed, a Santa Fe Police Department news release said.
The victim, later identified as Reynaldo Corado-Medina, 32, was taken to the hospital and died there.
SFPD detectives identified Chester Lemar Patrick Guttierrez as a suspect in the homicide, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He is not in custody and is considered to be armed and dangerous, the release said.
Guttierrez, also known as "Cozy," is believed to be homeless. He was last seen after the stabbing walking north on Cerrillos Road, pushing a shopping cart and wearing a gray hoodie over a black shirt and black shorts.
