ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

Police were called Saturday morning to a home on Lindsay Place NW, where a house party had happened the night before and a man had died, an Albuquerque Police Department news release said.

When APD officers arrived, they found the man's body on the floor in a hallway. The caller, who had found the body, said that the person may have slipped and hit his head.

After APD detectives began investigating, they heard that Caleb Parker-Arias, 23, had been fighting with the man before he died and that both had been drinking alcohol and doing cocaine after the party-goers had left or gone to bed, the release said.

Police said that Parker-Arias went to a friend's house and told them he had killed a man at a party after a fight.
