GAUTIER (WKRG) — A strong storm tore through Gautier, Mississippi, on Sunday morning.

Some of the most concentrated damage can be seen at the Aztecas Restaurant on Highway 90.

Their storm tore the roof off the restaurant and smashed the outdoor seating area.

A manager says roughly 12 employees were preparing for the workday inside when the storm passed. Miraculously, no one was hurt.

WKRG News 5 also spoke with the mayor, who said, as far as they know, no one was seriously hurt in this storm.

It also caused some property damage in a nearby subdivision and to a condo and apartment complex north of the shopping center.
