SHERIDAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) -Two people were shot early Sunday morning in Sheridan Township, with at least one victim sustaining life-threatening injuries, according to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.

In a post on social media , the Calhoun County Sheriff’s office said that deputies responded to reports of multiple gunshots fired in the area of C Drive North and 29 Mile Road at approximately 12:44 a.m. Sunday.

Upon arrival, deputies found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds at separate nearby locations. First responders provided immediate medical aid, and both victims were transported to Henry Ford Health for treatment.
