The Upcountry History Museum has welcomed its “Beyond Halloween Land: Tim Burton’s ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’” exhibit.

To create the exhibition dedicated to the iconic 1993 stop-action film, the museum worked with Walt Disney Archives and private collector Bill Heeter.

“Obviously, it (the film) is stop motion, so we don’t have a lot of props and things like that from the film,” said Rick Lorentz, senior manager, acquisitions and loans with Walt Disney Archives. “What we do have that was small enough we could ship were pumpkins that appear on the spiral hill set in the film and the countdown clock.”
