PHILADELPHIA — The Eagles still own the Giants , and Saquon Barkley is still better than any player on Big Blue.
That was the emphatic statement the Eagles and their star running back made Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. After losing in rather embarrassing fashion to their NFC East rival 17 days earlier at MetLife Stadium, the Eagles, with a 38-20 rout, made sure the Giants did not get their first season sweep of the series since 2007.
Barkley, who has struggled to get untracked this season, set the tone early by breaking off a 65-yard touchdown run on the second play of the game. He finished with a season-high 150 yards rushing and 174 total yards from scrimmage while scoring two touchdowns. Barkley, however, did not play in the fourth quarter after suffering a groin injury
