The Vancouver Whitecaps look to continue a strong 2025 season into the MLS Cup Playoffs, as they get set for Game 1 of their first-round series with FC Dallas on Sunday.

These two teams actually met on the final day of the regular season last Sunday, with Dallas coming away with a 2-1 win in Vancouver.

The victory was a needed one for the team from Texas. It ended up being the difference between Dallas not only moving into the top seven, but potentially not even making it to the postseason at all. The club pushed hard late in the season to qualify for the playoffs for the third time in the past four years, picking up points in nine of its past 10 matches.
